In its first incarnation, the Pythias Building served as a meeting hall for the Elks, Woodsmen of America, and other Secret Societies of Fairhaven. The original ballroom still occupies the upper level - and yes, it IS haunted, of course! Throughout the century, our building has been host to numerous other tenants, including McIntosh Hardware, the Immanuel School of Industries, and Norman's Clothing Store and, during Prohibition, a notorious speakeasy! From I-5: Take exit 250 off of the Freeway. Head west on Old Fairhaven Parkway about 1.6 mi. until you reach a stop light. Continue straight through the light, the street winds to the right becoming 10th Street - heading north. Proceed straight through the stop sign and park your car. We are located on Fairhaven Village Green, look for our sign. From Downtown Bellingham: Take State Street heading south. It will turn into the Boulevard and then 12th Street into Fairhaven.
